Our commitment
Protecting the Planet
Since 2020, Tissus en Ligne has been committed to protecting the planet. We understand that it is very difficult for an e-commerce business to be 100% eco-friendly. However, our environmental awareness continues to evolve every day, and we are delighted to implement these practices to do our part and contribute to a more sustainable future.
Discover the steps we are taking to make our website more environmentally friendly:
Our six commitments
Promises to Our Planet
Recycled mailing bags
Depending on the size of your order, your purchases are shipped in fully recyclable padded bubble mailers or in padded envelopes made from 100% recycled and fully recyclable paper. This helps protect your fabrics and the environment while also reducing postage costs.
Recycled & recyclable shipping boxes
For larger shipments, your orders are sent in protective cardboard boxes made from 70% recycled material and fully recyclable. In addition, whenever possible, we strive to reduce the amount of packing material used while ensuring your products remain as well protected as possible.
Paper and adhesives
The adhesives we use for your parcels are bio-based and made from renewable resources, using kraft paper and natural rubber glue. Our tissue paper is also bio-based and recyclable, and our printer, based in France, is certified with the Imprim'Vert label, a certification recognised throughout the graphic arts industry for reducing the environmental impact of printing.
A high-efficiency European datacentre
Our website is hosted by OVHcloud in its Erith datacentre in the United Kingdom. OVHcloud's Erith datacentre is designed and operated with energy efficiency in mind. It is ISO 50001 certified and participates in the European Code of Conduct for Energy Efficiency in Data Centres. OVHcloud reports a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.19 for Erith for its 2025 financial year, meaning that the datacentre operates with a high level of energy efficiency. We therefore chose infrastructure that aims to limit the environmental impact associated with hosting our website.
Fewer emails
Whenever possible, we aim to reduce the number of emails automatically sent during the ordering process.
Less paper
Since 2020, we have no longer systematically printed invoices to include them in parcels. Of course, you can still access your Order History and click the PDF button to download your invoice in digital format.
